In Kahramanmaraş, a local association organized a rain prayer after the noon prayer in response to the severe drought in Somalia.

The prayer took place at the Hz. Osman Mosque in Sazibey neighborhood and was attended not only by men but also by women and children. After the noon prayer, religious official Rüstem Çetinkaya led the rain prayer, which was joined by the congregation inside and outside the mosque.

Women and children gathered at the mosque entrance also participated in the prayer.
