Turkish Airlines (THY), in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent, launched a campaign to collect aid for Somalia onboard its flights. As part of the campaign, during a flight from Istanbul to Ankara on THY’s “Uludağ” aircraft, an announcement was made at 8,000 meters altitude.
Following the announcement, cabin crew members walked among the passengers carrying donation boxes labeled “Reach the Peak of Kindness with Your Compassion,” collecting donations for Somalia.
On the return flight to Istanbul, Trabzonspor President Sadri Şener, who was among the passengers, also contributed to the campaign.
