Ramazan Köse, who has worked as a baker specializing in pide for 25 years, and his son Ümit Köse are drawing attention to hunger and child deaths in Somalia by writing “Somalia and Turkey Hand in Hand” on their pides.
Customers, touched by this gesture, say they find it hard to eat the pide after reading the message and cannot stop thinking about the hunger crisis in East Africa.
