In Somalia, which is struggling with hunger and drought, Turkish doctors are providing medical care to displaced people at the Ministry of Health’s field hospital established a month ago in the capital.
Delivering healthcare services to nearly 15,000 patients in such a short time and under challenging conditions has amazed Somali officials. Health Ministry teams continue conducting medical screenings in the camps across the capital. Like many of her peers, little Sefire, seeing a doctor for the first time in her life, clings to her mother in fear.
