Metehan İnce, of Somali descent and a student at national basketball player Hedo Türkoğlu’s basketball school, has joined the aid campaign for Somalia. Adopted by Turkish parents, Metehan will donate the sports shoes he has worn since childhood and 970 lira of his saved allowance to the Turkish Red Crescent to help children in need in Somalia.
Metehan’s father, Emrah İnce, also made statements to the press.
