Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar (right) visited the Somalia Turkish Task Force Command during his official trip to the capital, Mogadishu. He was accompanied by Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler (second from right).
Following the visit, Minister Akar and his delegation went to the Military Academy, where they engaged in friendly Turkish-language conversations with Somali cadets and shared a meal with them.
The visit reflects Türkiye’s continued commitment to supporting the development of the Somali Armed Forces through education, training, and deepened bilateral cooperation.
