Afyonkarahisar, January 29, 2013 (Anadolu Agency – Mustafa Güngör) — A medicine donation campaign titled “Time for Medicine for Somalia” has been launched in Afyonkarahisar to help those in need in Somalia, where even money cannot secure access to essential medicines.
Speaking at the press conference introducing the campaign, President of the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Pharmacists, Melih Köken, called on citizens to show sensitivity and support the initiative. The campaign aims to collect much-needed medical supplies and raise awareness about the ongoing health crisis in Somalia.
