At the TURKSOM Military Training Base, thousands of Somali soldiers have been trained, contributing to the country’s fight against terrorism and strengthening its border security. Cooperation in the defense industry enables the Somali Armed Forces to develop into a modern and well-equipped structure.
The trade volume between the two countries increases each year. Projects in agriculture, construction, energy, space, and maritime sectors are contributing to the revival of the Somali economy while strengthening Türkiye’s presence in the Horn of Africa.
