In Erzurum, Yusuf Arslan, who was born with disabilities affecting both his arms and his right leg, plans to support Somalia by selling the paintings he creates with his left foot. Only able to use his left leg, Arslan was deeply moved by news reports about Somalia’s struggles and depicted the country’s hardships and tragedy through his artwork.
The disabled artist said, “After seeing the news coverage, I wondered, ‘How can I help Somalia?’ and decided to sell my paintings to support them as much as I can.”
