Turkey will build East Africa’s largest children’s hospital in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. The 100-bed hospital, to be constructed by the Yardım Eli Association, will sit on a 35,000-square-meter plot on the shores of the Indian Ocean. The complex will also include a training center, a mosque, and staff housing.
The association’s Somalia coordinator, Mehmet Çitil, provided information about the project.
