Ankara, January 21, 2013 (Anadolu Agency – Halil Sağırkaya) — Somali Minister of Defense Abdulhakim Haji Mahmoud arrived in Ankara to attend the first 2013 meeting of the Somali Core Group.
During his visit, Minister Mahmoud spoke to Anadolu Agency, offering an assessment of Somali–Turkey relations. He highlighted the strengthening ties between the two countries, particularly in the fields of defense cooperation and regional stability.
