President of Türkiye Abdullah Gül met with President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on the sidelines of the 68th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting took place following the opening session of a special UN event titled “Follow-up on Efforts Toward Achieving the Millennium Development Goals,” in which President Gül also participated. The leaders discussed bilateral relations and development cooperation.
