As part of Somali Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon’s official visit to Türkiye, the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Information Technologies.
The signing ceremony took place at the Prime Ministry’s Official Residence. The agreement was signed by Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru and Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohamed Nour Ga’al.
The memorandum aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in building Somalia’s IT infrastructure and advancing digital communication capabilities between government institutions.
