A cargo ship carrying 11,000 tons of food aid for Somalia departed from Haydarpaşa Port, in an initiative organized by the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The vessel, named Sea Amore, is loaded with 5,000 tons of sugar and 6,000 tons of flour. At the departure ceremony, Turkish Red Crescent President Kerem Kınık (left) and AFAD President Fuat Oktay (right) delivered speeches highlighting Türkiye’s continued humanitarian support for Somalia.
