Albayrak Group has officially launched a large-scale cleanup operation at the Port of Mogadishu, marking the first such initiative in nearly 20 years.
The ceremony was attended by Somali Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Ahmed Guled (third from left), Minister of Ports Maryan Aweys (third from right), and Albayrak Group’s Mogadishu Port Director Sami Erol (second from left).
This cleanup effort is part of ongoing improvements aimed at modernizing port operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting Somalia’s economic development through better infrastructure and logistics management.
