Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar (third from right), accompanied by Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler (third from left) and a high-level delegation, arrived in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.
Minister Akar was welcomed at Aden Abdulle International Airport by Somali and Turkish officials. Following his arrival, Akar proceeded to the Somalia Turkish Task Force Command, where he was received with a formal military ceremony at Anadolu Barracks.
The visit underscores Türkiye’s ongoing commitment to military cooperation, training, and strategic partnership with Somalia.
