Somali Minister of Justice Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, who was appointed to the Somali cabinet in October, visited the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the institution that provided him with a Türkiye Scholarship.
Nur graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University with the support of a Türkiye Scholarship granted by YTB. During his visit, he expressed gratitude for the educational opportunity that laid the foundation for his public service career.
The visit highlighted the long-standing educational and diplomatic ties between Türkiye and Somalia, and showcased the positive outcomes of Türkiye’s investment in international scholarship programs.
