Following the devastating terrorist attacks in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, on October 29 — which claimed the lives of over 100 people and left hundreds injured — Türkiye swiftly extended its support to the Somali people. In the aftermath of the attack, Türkiye dispatched medical teams, essential medical supplies, and an air ambulance to Mogadishu to assist in treating the wounded and supporting the overwhelmed local health services.
This emergency response is part of Türkiye’s ongoing humanitarian and development cooperation with Somalia, reflecting the close ties between the two nations.
