Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, met with Somalia’s newly appointed Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dahir Shire Mohamed, in Istanbul.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the energy and mining sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration in oil and gas exploration and development, following recent agreements signed between the two countries.
Minister Bayraktar congratulated Minister Mohamed on his new role and reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s resource development and energy infrastructure.
