The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 12 off-road military vehicles have been delivered to the Somali General Staff as part of the Military Financial Cooperation Agreement between Türkiye and Somalia.
In a statement, the ministry emphasized that the delivery reflects the continued strengthening of defense cooperation between the two countries. The vehicles are expected to enhance the operational capabilities of the Somali Armed Forces, particularly in mobility and field logistics.
The MSB reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to supporting the Somali military through training, equipment, and infrastructure development under bilateral agreements.
