Under the coordination of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the State Hydraulic Works (DSI) teams have met the water needs of 126,000 people living in tents in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, through newly drilled wells.

At the inauguration of two water wells built by the Aid Hand Association in a tent city housing 20,000 people, children played in the water, and women and children experienced the joy of being freed from carrying water in jerrycans on their backs.
