Due to hunger and drought, the Turkish Red Crescent is not just teaching Somalis who are going through hard times to eat bread, but also how to make it.

With a modern tent city of 2,100 tents set up by the Turkish Red Crescent along the coast, shelter needs have been met for 13,000 people. In the city, where pavements have been constructed and infrastructure prioritized, the opening of the “Fountain of Peace” provides easy access to water, ensuring everything is thoughtfully arranged for the comfort of the Somalis.

All sector representatives of the UN Somali delegation, who wanted to see this exemplary work of the Turkish Red Crescent firsthand, visited the modern tent city in recent days.
