Ankara, April 1, 2013 (Anadolu Agency – Turkish General Staff) — According to a statement released on the official website of the Turkish General Staff, the Turkish Navy provided escort and protection for the cargo ship Aqua Luna, which was carrying humanitarian aid supplies to Somalia.
The naval escort ensured the safe arrival of the vessel at the ports of Mogadishu and Berbera in Somalia, as part of Türkiye’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance and regional security in the Horn of Africa.
