Ankara, April 13, 2013 (Anadolu Agency – Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye) — President Abdullah Gül hosted Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Somaliland President Ahmed Silanyo at the Çankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara.
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and focused on fostering dialogue between the two leaders. Türkiye reaffirmed its role as a neutral facilitator in promoting peace, reconciliation, and cooperation between Somalia and Somaliland.
