The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has officially inaugurated the Somali Anadolu Faculty of Agriculture building in Somalia. The project, located in the East African nation’s capital, Mogadishu, was initiated in 2014.

Built as part of Türkiye’s development and education support efforts in Somalia, the faculty aims to contribute to agricultural education and training in the country. The facility will serve as a key institution to help develop Somalia’s agricultural sector by training future experts and supporting local food security.

The opening of the building marks another milestone in Türkiye’s commitment to long-term capacity-building and institutional development in Somalia.
