Turkish Minister of Health, Ahmet Demircan, traveled to Somalia to support local authorities following a bombing in the capital, Mogadishu, and to help accelerate the coordination of transferring the wounded to Turkey for treatment.
During his visit, Minister Demircan visited the injured receiving care at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital in Mogadishu. The visit reflects Turkey’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance and solidarity with the Somali people in times of need.
