Turkish Minister of Health, Ahmet Demircan, arrived in Somalia to support local authorities and to accelerate the coordination of transferring the wounded to Turkey for treatment following a devastating bombing in the capital, Mogadishu.

Accompanied by a delegation, Minister Demircan visited Mogadishu in the aftermath of the terrorist attack that left hundreds dead and injured. During his visit, he met with Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo (left), reaffirming Turkey’s solidarity and ongoing humanitarian support for the Somali people during this tragic time.
