As part of the Yunus Emre Institute’s (YEE) “cultural diplomacy” initiatives, a group of 22 students from Minneapolis, United States, has been selected to visit Türkiye.
Before their departure from Chicago to Istanbul, the students visited Faruk Cıngıllı, Founding President of the Turkish-Somali American Friendship Association, and Umut Acar, Türkiye’s Consul General in Chicago. The program aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and strengthen people-to-people ties between Türkiye and the international community.
