A graduation ceremony was held at the Somali Turkish Task Force Command in Mogadishu, Türkiye’s largest overseas military training center, for 81 officers and 71 non-commissioned officers who successfully completed their training.
The ceremony took place at the military base in the Somali capital and was attended by Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo (second from left), along with senior Somali and Turkish officials.
The Somali Turkish Task Force Command has been a cornerstone of Türkiye’s military assistance to Somalia, providing structured training aimed at building a professional and capable Somali National Army. The newly graduated officers and NCOs will now contribute to the security and stability efforts across the country.
