Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development Gamal Mohamed Hassan attended the signing ceremony of the 2nd Term Meeting Protocol of the Türkiye-Somalia Joint Economic Commission (JEC), held at the Ministry of Trade in Ankara.
Following their speeches, the two ministers signed the Türkiye-Somalia JEC 2nd Term Meeting Protocol, marking a new phase of economic cooperation between the two countries. The agreement aims to further enhance bilateral relations through strategic partnerships in investment, trade, infrastructure, and development initiatives.
Both sides expressed commitment to deepening cooperation and building long-term economic ties that support mutual growth and stability.
