Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo hosted a dinner at Villa Somalia, the presidential residence in Mogadishu, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the diplomatic friendship between Türkiye and Somalia.
During the event, President Farmaajo delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the strong and multifaceted partnership between the two countries. He expressed deep gratitude to Türkiye for its consistent support to Somalia in areas such as humanitarian aid, infrastructure, education, health, and military cooperation.
President Farmaajo highlighted that the Türkiye–Somalia relationship has become a model of international solidarity and brotherhood, noting that the last decade has laid a solid foundation for continued cooperation and mutual development. The dinner was attended by high-level officials, diplomats, and representatives from both nations.
