Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, met with Somali Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama on the sidelines of the 15th Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia.
During the bilateral meeting, the two officials discussed the strengthening of Türkiye–Somalia relations, ongoing cooperation in security, development, and humanitarian aid, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Türkiye and Somalia and the commitment of both countries to deepen collaboration in political, economic, and diplomatic fields.
