Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler met with Somali Minister of Defense Abdulkadir Muhammed Nur, who was in İzmir to attend the Distinguished Observer Day of the EFES 2024 Joint Combined Live-Fire Exercise.
The two ministers held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the exercise, discussing defense cooperation and regional security issues. The meeting reaffirmed the ongoing collaboration between Türkiye and Somalia in military training and strategic partnership.
