Somali naval, land, and air force officers who received training at the TURKSOM Military Training Base officially began their duties during a ceremony held in the capital, Mogadishu.
The event marked another milestone in the ongoing military cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia. The officers’ graduation reflects the continued efforts to rebuild and strengthen Somalia’s national defense forces with Turkish support. Established in 2017, the TURKSOM base has trained thousands of Somali soldiers, contributing to the country’s security and stability.
