President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya.
The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, regional developments in the Horn of Africa, and opportunities to deepen cooperation in defense, trade, education, and energy. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the strategic partnership between Türkiye and Somalia.
President Erdoğan expressed Türkiye’s continued support for Somalia’s security and development efforts, while President Mahmud thanked Türkiye for its long-standing solidarity and constructive role in the region.
