Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Somali Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral cooperation in maritime transport, port development, and regional maritime security. The talks also focused on strengthening economic ties and deepening strategic collaboration between Türkiye and Somalia in the logistics and infrastructure sectors.
Minister Fidan reaffirmed Türkiye’s continued support for Somalia’s development, while Minister Nur expressed appreciation for the strong and growing partnership between the two nations.
