As part of the “Establishment of Children’s Parks in Mogadishu, Somalia” project, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has completed the construction of six parks in the Somali capital.
Three of the newly built parks have been named in honor of the martyrs of July 15, commemorating those who lost their lives during the failed coup attempt in Turkey in 2016. The initiative reflects Turkey’s commitment to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties with Somalia, while keeping the memory of its national heroes alive.
