Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Yaşar Güler, met with Somali Chief of Defense, Brigadier General Odawa Yusuf Rage, at the General Staff Headquarters in Ankara.
General Güler welcomed his Somali counterpart and accompanying delegation with an official military ceremony. The two sides held talks focusing on strengthening military cooperation, regional security, and ongoing joint training initiatives.
The visit underscores the commitment of Türkiye and Somalia to enhancing defense relations and deepening strategic partnerships between their armed forces.
