Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar received Brigadier General Odawa Yusuf Rage, Chief of General Staff of the Somali Armed Forces, in Ankara.
The meeting was also attended by Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Yaşar Güler. During the talks, the officials discussed defense cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia, joint training programs, and regional security initiatives.
The visit highlights the continued strategic partnership and military collaboration between the two nations.
