In a country where poverty and inadequate educational infrastructure prevent many children from attending school, the Türkiye Maarif Vakfı (TMV) is giving Somali students a second chance at life through its scholarship program.
Recognized as the top-performing school in Somalia, the Somali Maarif Schools operate three campuses — two in Mogadishu and one in Hargeisa — providing education to 1,200 students.
With a multilingual curriculum including Turkish, English, and Arabic, alongside local languages, the schools equip students with the tools to engage with the global community.
The TMV’s efforts not only provide quality education but also contribute to long-term human development in Somalia by nurturing future leaders and professionals in a country striving to rebuild.
