President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held an official welcoming ceremony for Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is on an official visit to Türkiye.
Following the ceremonial reception, President Erdoğan and President Mohamud held a one-on-one meeting as well as inter-delegation talks. The two leaders later participated in a signing ceremony for a series of bilateral agreements aimed at deepening cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia.
During the ceremony, one of the key agreements was signed by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum (second from right), highlighting Türkiye’s commitment to collaborative development in critical sectors.
The visit underscores the strengthening of diplomatic, economic, and strategic relations between the two nations.
